Formerly based in Eugene, Oregon at the southern end of the Willamette Valley between the rugged Oregon Coast and the snow-capped Cascade Mountains, Oregon Wood Lab [OWL] is now located in the stunning coastal town of Newport, Oregon. OWL is a wood shop and product design studio deeply inspired by the unique beauty of its surroundings.

Our signature leather table tennis paddles were first created in collaboration with our friends at Back Forty Woods in 2013. These specialty rackets are handcrafted with a 5-ply solid hardwood core, handles made from highly figured Pacific Northwest hardwoods, and one of our signature leathers adhered to the playing surface. The result is a racket that not only plays remarkably well but also stands as a striking piece of visual art, guaranteed to impress your friends and help you crush your opponents.

At OWL, our goal is to create unique, high-quality products that can be enjoyed for generations. We especially enjoy collaborating with clients seeking one-of-a-kind orders. We’ve designed and produced elaborate game room displays, unique gifts for wedding parties and specialized co-branded goods, among a wide range of other projects.

RETURN POLICY

Our best attempts are made to replicate selected paddles on our website; however due to the natural variation in leather and wood, our handmade table tennis paddles may vary slightly from photos posted online. We only use the highest quality of deerskin and leather hides, yet as a thin game animal, deer is subject to natural blemishes and scaring. Beautiful because of its natural appearance and playable because of its supple nature, deerskin is our preferred leather for our custom handcrafted table tennis paddle.

If you are not 100% pleased with your order, simply return your unused racket(s) within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or full refund. Custom branded rackets cannot be returned. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
